Piles of fabric and cloth lie in cluttered heaps about the room, all but hiding the small store's owner. Curled like a frightened kitten on a stool and working diligently at her mending, Meek appears to either not notice or not care who enters and who exits. Shirts, skirts, jackets, and articles of clothing of all types hang behind her on a rack. You also see a slate-topped wooden counter with a loosely-bound bundle of lists on it.
